[ He smiles, knowing exactly how bad it hurts, when your mistakes feel like wounds are on display. ]

How about this? How about we plan our next date. I know you said you'd take me stargazing, and I'm lookin' forward to that, but I'm thinkin' the one after. You ever been out ridin'? Figure it might make for a change of pace.
