What's so different about it, then? Space chess? The pieces fly or something?

No! You know how the board is all like one piece in normal chess, well in 3D chess, the board is broken up and like on different levels. Here like this but better:

Huh. So, what, the pieces can move onto different platforms? That's pretty weird. I almost expected something more... space-y. Like with slides or guns or something.

I'm sure they have some that float and have aliens as pieces, but naw, just the different levels and platforms. It's a lot like normal chess but.. more dimensional.

Weird. Guess flat chess wasn't exciting enough for space life, is that right?

Where do the other guy's pieces go? All I'm seeing is one color.

Got it. So, when are you gonna be done making the board? You know you could probably ask some thralls to make that for you pretty easily.

I trust your work and all, but you don't strike me as the type to whittle down 32 individual chess pieces.
