Honestly, it's better to not question Raphael's whims and the interest he takes in people. But it's... not quite as awkward for us, but that's probably because we're Red and function a little differently than most. ... Or also perhaps Astarion and I are far more alike than one might think. His newest, though, I'm watching and waiting to see what happens there, however. But calling us "siblings" is perhaps not quite the right term for the things we do.
