It's fine. I kind of consider it my punishment for a few things. It'll fade away eventually... What with becoming immortal soon. Plus, if it's rooted in a memory somehow, like what Kirk and others went through, I'm okay with having it for a little while longer.
[ Well, Kirk's 'memory' wasn't exactly of the normal past, but people seem to be referring to them as such. They just wanted to give a fair warning when there's the inevitable panic and pain in the middle of the day. ]
Now hold on just a second. There ain't some magical entity out there what's decidin' who's right or who's wrong, whatever ya did, you don't "deserve" anythin'. Messin' up don't mean ya deserve to suffer from nightmares, so don't go believin' that.

I can see havin' a memory that gives ya nightmares, though. But like I said -- you ain't alone. So don't be a stranger, alright?
[ She lets him dismiss that kind of talk, even though she wasn't thinking of some magical entity being behind it all. It just seemed like an appropriate consequence after lying to Kirk about the nature of the cursed nightmare, in an attempt to alleviate any guilt he'd carry. ]
I can do my best. It's not my initial choice when coming across problems... It always seemed like it was for the best that I figure out things on my own.
